Meet Nigel Beagle
and Guy le Chat.
The hair of these two wiseguys features prominently in my knitting. So, I thought they deserved an introduction.
Nigel, a native of Virginia, has been with me for 3 1/2 years. He knows he's cute and can bend you to his will. He would tell you this his name is Nigel LeaveIt, since I spend half my day saying that to him.
Old man Guy has been with me since 1994. He's 12 1/2 and you'd never guess. Guy was born in Metarie, Louisiana and has been with me since my Tulane days. I majored in French, hence the name. He's a loud, vocal cat and the name suits him.
As I type this entry, Guy is lazily sunning himself on the bed while Nigel is trying everything to get me to feed him 45 minutes early. He'll sit in front of the kitchen waiting and waiting, and when I don't come he runs up to me and stares me down with the look of a sullen, angry teenager.
Guy's pretty low maintenance. But Nigel. Nigel we consider "practice."

Hi! Read your comment on Knit n Tonic and wanted to thank you for clearing the muddy water up. Didn't know what was up in the blog world.
Your Nigel and Guy are cutie pies!

Hi Debbie - thanks for popping over to my neck of the woods. Hopefully it will all settle down soon and we can get back to the knitting. I clearly need help - haven't managed to finish anything yet this year! ;)
Don't let my menagerie fool you - they're devils! hehe
