Heather

Wow, love your retro needles!!

becky

I'd go for the top version- if you're afraid it will be too small can you add stitches to the pattern?

My only issue with those pull from the center balls is that I so often have to frog that I don't know how to deal with the frogged yarn without tangle-city.

Jennie

That is such a pretty color. Love the variations of blues. Just love it. :)

Josie

That blue yarn is sooooo pretty! I just washed and put away my malabrigio scarf for the season yesterday, so I can just feel the pretty softness.

My first felting project flopped because I knit it too tightly. Apparently, you're supposed to go up a couple needle sizes for maximum friction when felting.

Can't wait to see how the bag turns out!

Ever since I've gotten a scale, I've noticed that too about the shortage on some yarns. WTH?

Heather: I think they even have a Mrs. Robinson era plastic chord, that thing is stiff as Tupperware. I might use it to hang laundry.

Becky: I wound the frogged bits around the ball. It's not the best, but at least I haven't been dropping balls on the floor and watching them roll deep into the dust-bunny hollows under the sofa.

Jennie & Josie: It really is an amazing color. I wish my camera did it justice. And Josie's right, this is maybe the softest yarn I've ever touched. As I've been working with it, I brainstorm other projects for it - felted pillows for the sofa, scarves, hats, and a chunky pullover. This will probably become a staple yarn for me.

Tiennie: Yeah, something tells me that this won't be an uncommon thing. Bugger.
