I don't have much to blog about today. I cast off the Booga Bag yesterday, and now I need to work about 6 feet of i-chord for the straps. That should be easy enough, but I need to get it done quickly. Last week the power went out in our bathroom, which is also home to our washer and dryer. We have an extension chord running in from the kitchen so we can see (no outside windows) and do our laundry. The electrician determined that it won't be a small job to fix, so I want to felt this bag before they possibly tear up our bathroom.
Believe me, I know that the Booga Bag is the least of my worries, but this is the one thing I can do something about. The rest is out of my hands.
Hopefully I'll felt it tonight. I'll take photos.
Wanted: Mint Chocolate Yarn
I love Andes Mints. I was once a cashier at a restaurant that put Andes Mints in the bill folder. So there was this box of minty goodness constantly within my reach. It was all that I could do not to eat the whole box. I love chocolate and mint together almost as much as I love coffee and chocolate together. I also love the colors. It's perfect: mostly chocolate brown with that thin sliver of mint green. Andes Mint people, I love you.
A few months back I saw a mint chocolate-colored crocheted afghan on someone's blog, and of course I can't remember where I saw it. It might even belong to one of you. Needless to say, I fell in love. I want something, anything knit in shades of minty green and rich brown. I'd really like to know about sock yarn, but any yarn (in combos) would do. Let me know if you've seen such things AND if that afghan is yours. I want to ogle it again.

Yes I love those Andes Mints as well, in fact I just snitched one from a hotel front desk earlier tonight!

Sorry about not finding the afghan! I haven't seen such a creature but I'll keep my eyes open for it. It is truly frustrating to be window-watching at blogs, find something, and lose the spot because it was a blog from a connection to three other blogs (I sometimes get so caught up in reading that I forget where I started).
That is an amazing idea...combining those two colors. I also am very much attached to the combination of those two flavors. You can't eat just one.

No help with the afghan, but I have dyed yarn that I called peppermint patty.
